Ideal for large weddings, this affordable event venue is one of the largest facilities in the East Bay that allows you to bring the caterer of your choice. The neutral decor is a blank slate for your wedding dreams! Facility includes state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and ample parking.

Costs

A nonrefundable $500 deposit is required to secure your date, and the balance and security deposit are due 90 days prior to the function. The rental fee ranges $105–195/hour depending on the time frame of the event. An additional $75 fee is charged if alcohol is served.

 

Civic Park Community Center & Gazebo

Located in Civic Park in downtown Walnut Creek, this oasis of trees and rose gardens can accommodate a variety of wedding styles. Choose the classic gazebo and surrounding lawn for an outdoor celebration, or move indoors and decorate the Assembly Hall to suit your wedding theme. Bridal changing room available in the Community Center just steps away from gazebo and Assembly Hall.

The Lakeside Room overlooks two beautiful fountains in the center of a large pond, surrounded by the trees and extensive greenery of Heather Farm Park. Guests can enjoy a walk around the pond or a toast to the bride and groom by the indoor fireplace nook. The spacious venue is simple and elegant, awaiting your personal decor touches.
